Restrings & Small Repairs

Some repairs & most guitar restrings can be done in house.
These are usually completed in our workshop on Monday & Tuesday evenings.

We're currently working through a backlog of repairs & hope to reopen the diary around summer 2026

Until we've cleared the oustanding repairs & restrings we're unable to take on any new work.

Contact Us Regarding Repairs

Brass & Woodwind Repairs

Brian has been repairing brass & woodwind instruments since 1987. With customers from top orchestras and bands as well as music shops throughout the UK, whether you are a student just starting out or a professional musician, your instrument will be in safe hands.

Because of the demand for Brian's repairs all repairs and services are booked in advance and the work is carried out on a specified day, this way you do not have to be without your instrument for any longer than necessary.

Please remember when dropping repairs off, to have your name, address, contact details & a description of the problem in with the instrument.
Please bring repairs in no more than one week before the collection date & collect them no more than one week from return

Any repairs left for more than 28 days will be sold & the funds kept to recover the repair costs

The music shop is open for instrument drop off & collection Monday to Saturday 11:00 till 4:00

We are unable to offer brass & woodwind
repairs or advice in the shop.
